Sarah Kahn Hair took
New Orleans at
Bayou St. Blonde
We attended a two day hair show with 15+ artist! They did everything from balayage, creative cutting, use of essential oils, and gave us LOTS of motivation. We got to see Garrett Markenson who is the founder of one of our favorite brands at Sarah Kahn Hair favorite products lines Reverie. The founder of Whittemore house, Victoria Hunter, did her signature hair painting technique that was beyond gorgeous. Jayne Matthews from Edo Salon did her classic shaggy haircut and diffused to style (AH-MAZE-ZING). This really gave the cut such a different texture and finish. It was such a great experience not only going to Bayou St. Blonde but to connect with other hair dressers in the industry from all over.
All this happened in the amazing city of New Orleans! We ate the most DELICIOUS (heaviest) food, went to the best restaurants, did all the touristy things and the drinks!
We were inspired and couldn’t wait to bring back everything we learned to the salon and all our beautiful clients!
