D.S. & Durga Winter Solstice Pine Candle

The big bright Cold Moon season reveals a special time for the Earth every year at the Holidays. All can feel it in the rush to commune with something larger than themselves. It's been a few hundred years now where we associate the season with conifers, fresh pines, spices, and holy ambers. One light of our yearly Portable Xmas is guaranteed to open the neural pathways to the joy of the Holidays.

D.S. & DURGA was founded in 2008 by David (aka D.S.) and Kavi (aka Durga) Moltz. They started from scratch and forged their own path (more Sid than Sinatra). As pioneers of the DIY movement in Brooklyn, they began transforming things that inspired them into fragrant stories of cowboys, landscapes, and folk songs. Attention to detail and the significance of human hands still play a crucial role in the brand's process today. The perfumes are made in New York City, with formulation in Brooklyn and bottling in the Bronx. Each perfume has a playlist, story, photos, & films. D.S. & DURGA aims to create fragrance that live on the level of great music, painting and literature, a perfume is a world you can return to over and over again – a keyhole into far off places – material and imaginary. Perfume is armchair travel.
