D.S. & DURGA was started by DIY pioneers Kavi and David, in Brooklyn, NY. Their scents are fragments of half-remembered myths and imaginary landscapes that invite exploration. They are an invisible soundtrack that you can carry on your body throughout the day.

Salt Marsh Rose-A lazy ramble in hidden thickets on Cape islands where marsh rose and swamp mallows suck brackish tides. Ospreys hunt in estuary wetlands. Plovers plove.
“There are groves that dot some of my favorite places in New England—the coast North of Boston, Nantucket, MV, and the like. Hidden from old gray cedar houses, in hot summer thickets, brackish ground water wells up. Small ponds and swampy marshes in summer are alive with birds, frogs, and dragonflies. Big heavy mallow heads, and wild roses shine like beacons in the dank muddy grass.” - D.S.

D.S. & DURGA was founded in 2008 by David (aka D.S.) and Kavi (aka Durga) Moltz. They started from scratch and forged their own path (more Sid than Sinatra). As pioneers of the DIY movement in Brooklyn, they began transforming things that inspired them into fragrant stories of cowboys, landscapes, and folk songs. Attention to detail and the significance of human hands still play a crucial role in the brand's process today. The perfumes are made in New York City, with formulation in Brooklyn and bottling in the Bronx. Each perfume has a playlist, story, photos, & films.
