Our Favorite Seattle Restaurants

Our Favorite Seattle Restaurants

A running list of faves from Sarah Kahn Hair

Seattle has no shortage of good food, but these are the places we come back to again and again. The ones we recommend to clients, send friends to, and genuinely crave on our days off.

If you’re visiting, or just want to shake up your usual rotation, start here 🤍

Single Shot

Capitol Hill | Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Capitol Hill | Breakfast, lunch, dinner

This is our number one for a reason.
The vibe, the service, the food… it all hits.

Our faves: bread, hamachi crudo, lettuces, steak. The pork chop is also bomb.

It feels special without trying too hard. Perfect for a slow brunch, a date dinner, or when you want something that just feels special and consistent.

Order: honestly anything. It’s all good.

Bounty Kitchen

Queen Anne | Lunch

Our go-to for a quick, nourishing lunch.
Fresh, local, and always consistent.

Heavy in our rotation. We love the tacos and the Thai Peanut & Basil Salad with chicken. Fresh juices are great, and the crispy chocolate chip cookie is very much our thing.

Westward

Best views of Lake Union | Dinner + oysters

Split a bottle of wine on the adirondack chairs while eating fresh PNW oysters.

It’s one of those places where you start with a drink outside, order a dozen oysters, and accidentally turn it into a whole night.

Lioness

Greenwood | HH, Dinner + drinks

Vibes 10/10 great date spot and dont miss the Happy Hour! We love everything about this spot. Tiny and lively is what comes to mind.

Cafe Lago

Montlake | Dinner

A true neighborhood spot.
Unpretentious, cozy, and exactly what you want when you’re craving pasta and wine. They are known for their lasagna.

Feels like it’s been there forever in the best way.

Pancita

Ravenna / Behind U Village | Dinner + drinks

Everything here is just… done well.
Great drinks, great food, great service.

Must order: sourdough, caesar, brisket tacos, spicy margs.

An easy yes for a night out with friends or cute date spot.

Monsoon

Capitol Hill | Dinner

Ba Bar’s quieter, more polished sister.
We love it for something a little more low-key but still special.

Must order: green beans + crispy chicken

Loretta's Northwesterner

South Park | Casual

When you want an og burger.
No notes.

Bar del Corso

Beacon Hill | Dinner

Everyone talks about the pizza (and yes, get one),
but the sides are the real star.

Must order: Suppli al Telefono, meatballs, burrata and ripini with bread and dessert you have to get the seasonal polenta cake. yum.

Go with friends and order a little bit of everything.

Grillbird + Salad Party

Phinney Ridge | Lunch rotation

Easy, satisfying, 2 restaurants in one stop. We like getting salads and a chicken teriyaki to share.

Joez Bayside

Portage Bay / Eastlake Casual lunch

A bit of a hidden gem.

Order: chicken caesar wrap. Always.

Jackalope Tex-Mex & Cantina

Columbia City | Dinner

Fun, casual and consistently good.

Must order: queso + cheese and brisket enchiladas, la pina marg. ˆ€‡

Saint Bread

Portage Bay, right by UW| Brunch + lunch

A favorite for a reason.

Non-negotiable: the cardamom croissant but also savory lunch items are a must try! *smashburger

Local Tide

Fremont | Casual

Must Order: shrimp toast, smash burger and salt and pepper fries.  *crab roll weekends only.

Bar Miriam

Queen Anne | cocktails

We love a cocktail bar thats tiny, cozy, and one of those spots that feels like a find. Trust the bartenders and let them mix you up something special.

Ramen Danbo

Cap Hill | Ramen

Customize your ramen from the broth, spice, thickness of noodle to firmness here. This is incredible ramen. BUSY spot, go mid week mid day. Gyoza are a must!

Cafe Munir

Ballard | Dinner

Intimate, delicious, and feels like a hidden gem. Lebanese arabic food that is a Seattle staple

Revel

Fremont | Dinner

Flavor-forward and fun. Make reservation in advance. We love the shortrib wonton, crab noodle and chinese broccoli and korean fried chicken.

Taylor Shellfish

Queen Anne | HH

Great place to split a bottle of wine and eat some oysters, we love the Queen Anne location as its close to Sarah Kahn Hair!

Mt. Bagel

Madison Valley | Bagels

The best bagels in Seattle, I will die on that hill.
Get the chive cream cheese. Chef’s kiss.

Final note

We’re always adding to this list, but these are the spots we genuinely love and send people to all the time.

If you try any of them, tell us what you think or share your favorites with us. We’re always looking for the next good place 🤍
